My question pertains to JSP pay grades, and more specifically to steps within the grades. I will be starting my first DCT clerkship after six month's private practice. While I will probably not be eligible for salary matching (as I do not have enough time in and equivalents to qualify for JSP-12), will I be able to increase my step within JSP-11 based on my post J.D. experience? If so, how will the AOC compute this? In fact, I would be obliged for any information regarding step calculation.
