Yes, we realize that they have vBulletin 2.2.9 out (and it's a very good release from what I've heard), but we're still running 2.2.6 at Judicial Clerkships. The web development staff have decided that it will take too much time to upgrade to 2.2.9 and we're waiting for vBulletin 3 to be released. It's supposed to be a superb upgrade and we hope to have that running the week it is released. Just an update for anyone who cares about the tech behind the site.

I used to be a mod at a site that ran vBulletin. The changes between 2.2.6 and 2.2.8 weren't all that big and I think the changes between 2.2.9 aren't that big as well. But have you seen the vB3 alpha? Thats' incredible. I love it. I'm considering getting a forum for my site and it's either going to be vB3 or PHPbb. None of the other forum engines aside from Ikonboard are worth squat.
